LaunchWars started as a simple experiment: what if startup rankings had no judges, no voting, and no algorithm?
Just the bid.
Founders submit their products and place a bid. The highest confirmed cumulative bid gets Gate #1. If somebody bids higher, they move ahead. Existing products can add to their bid to fight their way back up.
Then it went live
LaunchWars is a small internet experiment built around one ridiculously transparent ranking system: whoever bids the most ranks first.

The board is intentionally simple.
No votes. No judges. No mysterious ranking algorithm. Rank is determined by the confirmed bid: nothing else.
Someone takes your spot? You can bid again and climb back up.
